RRC East Central Railway has released the notification for the recruitment of Sports Persons under the Sports Quota for 2024-25. In total, there are 56 vacancies. Those who satisfy the eligibility conditions and are interested in applying can apply offline. The recruitment will be done at different levels: such is the vacancy for certain sportspersons of specific positions. For the Level-4/5 posts, any graduation qualification is a prerequisite for the candidates. These posts are open to sport-persons, who have acquired the required educational qualification. The candidates shall be fit and perform well in their respective sports. The posts shall assist in the development and implementation of sports programmes at East Central Railway.
Eligible candidates for the Level-2/3 posts would have passed their 10th or 12th standard (Plus 2 stage) or should hold an ITI examination certificate passed under NCVT/SCVT in the technical categories. These posts are for sports persons who possess skills and also technical know-how pertaining to their respective fields. These are strategic end-to-end posts that are capable of organizing track maintenance activities under railway departments.
For Level-1 position, the candidates must have passed their 10th class or ITI or equivalent qualification or NAC issued by NCVT. It is an entry-level job for those candidates who have had their basic education and can perform sports activities. This also gives the trainee opportunities as a railway assistant in conducting activities related to sports.
